Writing in the Scotsman, Duncan Macmillan writes of Laura's work, “…perfectly exquisite is Laura Cresser's cabinet of curiosities: delicate paintings and museum cabinets full of objects that at first sight look natural, which on closer inspection turn out to be surreal and rather scary.” Moira Jeffrey, in the Herald, describes Laura's work as,”...an immaculate botany collection with the most exquisite formal botanical drawings and a natural history collection of odd home-made hybrids."
